Vacature Senior Production Technologist
Position
Accountabilities
Setting well operating envelopes
Monitoring daily production and ensuring it is optimized
Design and frequency requirements for water wash scheduling.
Maintaining well and system network models.
Minimizing production losses from the fields.
Identifying and maturing production enhancing well interventions.
Maximum Production Potential Definition, Choke Model & input into Production Forecasting (Short and Medium)
Input to production loss accounting
Identification and management of Production Risks and Opportunities.
Work Experience
Prior experience in production optimization of wells and offshore processing facilities is required, preferably with a subsurface background.
Proven use of well and network modelling software
Setting of well maximum production potential, production loss reporting, root cause analysis.
Prior experience of Well & Reservoir Management activities on operated assets
Well interventions exposure to coil tubing, slickline and e-line.
Key Stakeholders & Working Relationships
Reports directly to the Production Director who is based in UK
Works closely with the Subsurface Manger, Ops Manager, Ops team and Junior Production Engineer based in Netherlands.
Project approval required through Asset Manager and Asset Director based in Amsterdam.
Works closely with offshore operations team.
Good communication to well services based in the UK.
Requirements
Competencies
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineer or equivalent/higher degree.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities with the ability to make technical recommendations in well interventions and completion design. Primarily focused on late life gas wells with halite and liquid loading issues.
Key skills with well and network modelling (Prosper & GAP) as a basic requirement.
Ability to use OLGA and Netool would be beneficial.
Knowledge of halite and calcium scaling potential/formation envelopes would be beneficial.
Programming skills and experience with open server (Prosper & GAP) would be beneficial.
The ability to influence others without necessarily having line management authority. The relationship with the choke owners and the service delivery groups is key. Including strong communication / presentation/ writing skills.
Ability to conduct analysis of production logs would be beneficial.
Proficient in the use of real time data analysis tools (ie PI)
Travel
Based in Randstad NL and occasional travel to the UK and to assets.
